POSITION OVERVIEW
-Assures outstanding execution of the international order management process, distributor packing and shipping requirements, and accurate invoicing of orders.
-Provides world-class customer service and acts as a liaison on behalf of all distributors in areas of product needs, sampling, shipping and finance.
-Actively monitors sales trends and distributor marketing plans to project future usage and ensure accurate international forecasts for both U.S. and European warehouses through successful collaboration with
Demand Planning team.
-Manages all aspects of the relationship with 3rd party European warehouse.
-Masters a good working knowledge of regulatory requirements for key markets and assures the Company properly executes all aspects of regulatory requirements, product registration processes and packaging regulations in international markets.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, analyze and process all orders from international distributors.
- Become an expert of the Jack Black product line and any international specific product differences or needs.
- Request shipping quotes and schedule distributor shipments as needed.
- Partner with warehouse team to evaluate ways for on-going improvements to order accuracy and best practices in fulfillment procedures.
- Plan and conduct market visits to experience local retail and distributor operations to understand their strategies, business models and needs.
- Continually study the competition and maintain competitor pricing analysis per market.
- Quickly anticipate and react to customer needs
- Collaborate with International team and Demand Planner to create production forecast and ensuring proper stock levels based on product performance particularly in European warehouse.
- Request, conduct and reconcile physical inventory counts once a year at our European warehouse.
- Create and manage monthly summary report of top sellers for international.
- Maintain distributor order log on a weekly basis and provide business snapshot to International and
- Leadership team on a monthly basis.
- Provide distributors with updated order forms twice a year.
- Assist Director and Manager in planning and facilitating distributor meetings, as needed.
- Create detailed schedule of invoices in order to file monthly EC Sales List and UK VAT returns each quarter.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 3+ year’s sales management, customer service, forecasting and inventory management or related work experience a must.
- Ability to proactively analyze and evaluate complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once, with strong attention to detail
- Able to understand and communicate across diverse cultures.
- Strong collaboration and partnering skills, internally and externally.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Second language, preferred.
- MS Office, Expert level Excel
- Frequent travel (over 30%) domestic and international
