The Assistant Manager, Marketing Communications contributes on all of copy assignments for the digital and marketing teams, including but not limited to creating copy for email marketing, website content, field newsletter, and in-store signage. The right candidate is highly organized, meticulous, creative, and comfortable multitasking. A passion for writing compelling copy is a must. This position plays an integral role in the digital and marketing teams and in developing marketing strategy.


• Write, edit, and proofread content for the digital space — including website content, website banners, and copy for email and AdWords campaigns.
• Plan and publish engaging content across all digital channels, from social media posts to email blasts to blog posts to landing page copy.
• Communication liaison to Customer Service and Warehouse teams, keeping the team apprised of updates in marketing calendar/promotions.
• Work with marketing and creative team to create collateral for new marketing assets as needed for retailers, trade shows, and product launches.
• Plan and write content for the monthly newsletter.
• Provide support to retailers’ websites to make sure our products are correctly represented (up-to-date copy, images, etc.)
• Provide assistance as needed on marketing and website projects relating to content optimization, product launches, and software integration.
• Assist with generating copy and content for general advertising programs, sports marketing partnerships and awareness building and lead generation initiatives.
• Contribute to development of product training materials as needed.



• Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, marketing, communications or related field.
• 2-5 years experience, experience in ecommerce is preferred.
• Beauty, fashion-related and/or luxury goods experience or knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and a team player
• Great flexibility and adaptability
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel)
