Bay Area basketball fans have been lucky enough to watch history unfold before their eyes over the last couple of years as their home squad ran roughshod over their opponents in the West. Tim Roye, play-by-play announcer for the Golden State Warriors, has watched it all from ground zero.

Talk about a dream job.

We caught up with Roye a few weeks back to ask him about his career, his favorite (and least favorite) calls, and the historical events he wishes he could’ve witnessed in the announcer’s booth.
