APRÈS SKIN

Look, the beach is great. Summer hikes through the mountains? Yeah, nature’s awesome. And trying new cuisines in far-flung locales has its charms. But there’s nothing that compares with flying through fresh powder all day then soaking in the hot tub while new snow falls.

So, if you’re carving out time to carve down a mountain, here are five products Jack recommends taking along.

1. Dragon Ice Relief & Recovery Balm
Skiing and boarding place a lot of strain on muscles you might not be training every day. Use Dragon Ice before you catch the first lift to warm up muscles and increase circulation. Then before you catch some Zs, use it to soothe minor backaches, sprains, headaches and simple arthritis.

2. Body Rehab Scrub & Muscle Soak
No one likes skiing sore. Massage this scrub on in the shower to gently warm and soothe tired, overworked muscles. It will help loosen knots and relieve tension from a full day on the slopes.

3. Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25
Protect the precious surface area that remains exposed to sun and wind burn (aka your lips). And if you’re going to a warmer ski zone, make sure and pick up Jack’s Sun Guard Sunscreen to protect the rest of your face and neck.

4. Extra Rich Body Hydrator
Yes, we talk about it all the time. It’s winter. Throw in drier air, colder temperatures and nights in the hot tub, and your skin will be begging for moisture. This is the double black diamond of skin hydration. Put it on after you shower to leave your skin feeling smooth, soft and refreshed.

Here’s to a good base, fresh powder and short lift lines.

Happy trails!
