Golf is a dangerous sport. Sometimes more so for the equipment itself, which can end up around trees, in ponds or through the windshield of an SUV. But that doesn’t mean it’s without risk for the player—prolonged exposure to the wind and sun, the toll that pounding a few buckets of balls can take on your hands, the torque on your lower back. Not that we’re complaining. There are worse things in life than golf (though some rounds might not feel like it). But there are simple things you can do to make sure you feel your best before, during and after a round.

Wear Sunscreen.
