If basketball hadn’t turned out well for Marshall Plumlee, he says he might’ve joined the U.S. Army or worked as a software designer. But his stint with 2015 NCAA national championship Duke Blue Devils and his signing with the New York Knicks seem like pretty sure signs that he chose the right path.

One of the top-rated recruits in the basketball class of 2011, New York Knicks center Marshall Plumlee has competed among the most elite players in the nation since he was in high school. He was a team captain as a senior for the 2015 national champion Duke Blue Devils, after which he was picked up by the Knicks as an undrafted free agent and made his professional debut last November.
