FAVORITE JACK BLACK PRODUCT AND WHY?:  It is a tie between the Sun Guard SPF 45 and Dragon Ice Relief & Recovery Balm. I have used both of these products from the Performance Remedy line regularly during marathon training. The Sun Guard is extremely helpful in protecting my skin from the sun's intense rays up here in Flagstaff. At an SPF of 45, I feel it gives me optimal sun protection and I can run without risking serious sunburn. I was also impressed with how well the sunscreen absorbs after application without leaving any oily residue behind or coming off with sweat. For recovery, I have been using the Dragon Ice Balm to refresh and soothe my muscles after strenuous workouts. It works great to address minor aches and pains, and it has played an important role in my recovery routine to keep me running healthy.

2010/2011 RACE HIGHLIGHTS: 2-time USATF Florida open women's runner of the year. I was a model for a bronze statue that was presented to the city of a female runner. Overall female winner of 9 races in 2011 so far.

FAVORITE JACK BLACK PRODUCT AND WHY?:  Cool Moisture Body Lotion. With all the time I spend I training outside and in the pool, I need a lotion that can take care of my skin with all the abuse it gets.
WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT JACK BLACK:  I love that Jack Black is willing to sponsor a 23 year old athlete looking to make a difference in the sport of triathlon. Also, my Dad has always been a huge fan of Jack Black products so that's exciting, too!
PROUDEST MOMENT:  Finishing my first attempted marathon in Hartford despite cramping and "crashing" at mile 18. My uncle walked with me for the last 8 miles until I crossed the finish line. I don't like quitting, and it was nice to have the family support.
