My one concern and biggest question to the rep was concerning their product's guidelines in regard to cruelty free/ animal testing free. I said that I knew that Jack Black's shaving brushes were synthetic and therefore cruelty free. Their rep told me that while they do use natural Badger hair, they do not harm the animal when they harvest the hair used in their brushes. I believed him...Turns out that after some research and a phone call to their corporate office, the Badger hair that they use is actually imported from China where the animals are killed and eaten. I was horrifed to hear this. I have contacted Bloomingdale's and they are willing to allow me to return my purchase. My point? Thank you Jack Black for being truly cruellty free and for being honest in your disclosure of your policy concerning animal testing, and cruelty free. I have learned my lesson and will be returning to Bloomingdales to purchase your product for my shaving needs. You are a remarkable product.
